The processes of entanglement, its swapping and communication are probabilistic, yet they can be repeated until success. Essentially repetitions do not require starting the whole process from the beginning as an excitation, once created, is stored until readout. Thus, the protocol provides a realistic method for creating distanced entanglement bypassing the limits of attenuation range of communication channels.
